Faith isn't just learned. It's lived.
The TENx10 Faith and Service Project builds on the Faith Formation Framework by exploring how integrating service and justice helps young people internalize and apply their faith.
We call this exploration Embodied Faith Practice.
Why Service and Justice Matter for Youth Formation
Many young people are trying to reconcile the words of Jesus with the ways they see faith lived out.
The Faith Formation Framework reminds us that relational discipleship is holistic. TENx10’s Faith and Service Project explores what happens when spiritual practices and learning are intentionally connected with service, justice and theological reflection.
Embodied Faith Practice helps young people connect what they believe, how they are being formed, and how they live their faith.
From Vision to Movement
Through the Faith and Service Project, TENx10 is helping ministries across the country explore what Embodied Faith practice looks like in diverse churches, organizations, and communities.
Made possible through the generous support of Lilly Endowment Inc., this multi-year initiative equips ministries to deepen youth discipleship through the integration of faith, service, and justice while learning together across the broader Christian ecosystem.
Rather than promoting a single model, this initiative creates space for churches, practitioners, researchers, and ministry leaders to experiment, learn, collaborate, and share what is helping shape the faith of young people in their community through service and justice projects.
Resources for the Church
This initiative is about more than grant funding.
It is about equipping the entire Church.
